Alpha Phi defines sisterhood in many ways beyond a sorority house. Sisterhood means having over one hundred women from different backgrounds coming together as one to be part of something bigger than themselves. The experiences shared as a sisterhood are what bring us together, forming friendships for a lifetime.

The objectives of our Fraternity are to promote growth and development of character, sisterhood, cultivate leadership, encourage intellectual curiosity and advocating service. We empower one another to become better women both in and outside of Alpha Phi.

We are honored to announce that Gamma Kappa Alpha Phi is the recipient of this year’s Commitment to Social Justice Award Gold Distinction from the Student Life and Development Leadership Department! Our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Department works tirelessly to ensure that our chapter stays educated and conscientious through examples of leadership, service, and collaboration. We have learned so much this year and strive to continue our progress in becoming an understanding and accommodating group of women. We are so appreciative to the girls in our chapter for being so eager and willing to be upstanding and inclusive individuals. This award is very special to us because it is an award presented to only one organization on our campus and we are the only FSL chapter to have been nominated.
